Biography

Born December 10, 1966 in 14th PARIS, Cécile BERREBI de NOAILLES discovers ballet at the age of five years. First student of Irina Grjebina (Paris Opera), it is then formed by the National superior Conservatory of music and dance then starts contemporary dance at the Bagnolet Conservatory at the age of 17 years.

Graduated from the C.N.S.M. She continued her artistic training at the R.I.D.C. with Françoise and Dominique Dupuy, and then in the famous School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam and finally to the Folkwangschule in Essen.

She also graduated from the University of Paris V and VIII, dance department. Many professional seminars in the Japan and India among others, masters of traditional techniques (No, Kabuki, Taiko, Mohiniyatam, Bharathanatyam) have enriched his career of dancer and choreographer contemporary.

Throughout his career, Cécile Berrebi de Noailles met with choreographers such as Carolyn Carson, Pina Bausch, Dominique Dupuy, Alexandre Yterce and even Alain Germain on the international scene.

Choreographer-dance researcher, Cécile BERREBI de Noailles worked within the framework of the "Partnership Residence search" at the Museum of Montreuil for 11 years and for cultural and educational city of Montreuil projects.

Since 1989 BERREBI Cécile de NOAILLES creates for the Agora company of performance, shows or specific creations around exhibitions in museums. The choreographer and dancer of the Agora company has today 40 creations and several orders of shows for museums.

THE A. C.C.D has 2 slopes direction and supervision of art workshops for children from kindergartens and elementary schools in Paris since 1999 and vocational training for the performing artists and young who is destined to the scene and year 2000. it ensures the artistic direction and teaching of the A.C.C.D. (workshops choreographic contemporary dance), private school in professional dance training and preparation for the scene. It is subsidized by the city of PARIS for the direction of the supervision of several workshops of contemporary dance in the direction of the children of primary schools.

In 2010, she develops a work of creation in Video dance.

Residence in India, she develops a work of choreographer and teaches contemporary dance at the STUDIO DAAZZLERS in Cochin (Kerala) in relation to Indian classical dance masters in the direction of all audiences. The company Agora is also based in Cochin in India.

Two internships of 3 weeks blend contemporary dance and classical dances of Kerala, each summer from French artists will be working intensely these Arts in cultural immersion in South India.

In 2011, she created a contemporary arts Academy in Delhi (India) as well as a professional company.

In 2012, she set up a studio of dance in Paris-Saint-Denis University.

Since 2013, she works with the Lycée Jean Zay boarding school of excellence 16th Paris, the regional Conservatory of music and dance of Aulnay, dance of the Galleon centre. In 2014, residence, establishment and research around improvisation dance music and dance on the city of Aulnay, subsidized by the General Council of Seine-Saint-Denis.
